This blog contains information about conservation treatments performed on photographs nowadays.
It was originally created to document a research process, its origin, transformation and results.
The research title is "Current Status of Treatment Practices in Photograph Conservation", an interviews-based reference resource, that aims to:
- Understand, document and communicate the way in which treatments are approached and conducted, mainly in US, in different institution types and in private practice,
- Gather and make accessible the knowledge and experience of a group of key individuals in the field,
- Identify and explain the factors that have influenced in the history and development of treatment practices,
- Collect informed opinions relative to specific treatment topics.
